THE ACTIVITY: In this hands-on event, participants are guided through an enlightening tasting and education of artisan, premium chocolates of varying cacao percentages and flavor profiles. Chef Zach will keep it fun and interactive by asking questions along the way to challenge the group's perceptions and knowledge about chocolate and to test their taste buds to see how well the group can detect flavor nuances. After learning about chocolate’s natural flavors, your chocolate truffle-making expertise will be taken to the next level!

Next, Chef Zach will demonstrate, along with audience volunteer assistants, techniques for making the perfect chocolate ganache in preparation for the truffle rolling. The program then becomes hands-on as participants don chocolatier gloves, are paired together to create and name their own “chocolate shop,” and roll and decorate their French-style chocolate truffles for each person to take home—along with copies of the two recipes—in their chocolate-colored bonbon boxes. Groups are asked to share their chocolate shop names for more interactive fun.

PRICE: $550* minimum, covering the first 10 people. Only $15 more for each person above 10. All materials provided.
